Terri Wolf / aistheta

  • 2222 Lakeland Avenue Madison, WI, 53704 (map)

Terri combines her love of fibers with her passion for nature in creating each hand hewn bird pod. Through a process called "wet felting", she shapes local wools into hollow vessels, enhancing them with elements foraged from the natural world. As decor, each pod brings a sense of whimsey and strengthens our connections to the natural world. / Nature-inspired handcrafted jewelry in copper, and sometimes sterling silver or brass. Much of Julie’s jewelry is created using a technique known as fold-forming, combined with etching and traditional metalsmith techniques. Stones, beads, found objects, or handmade metal and beaded chains are sometimes included. Each piece of jewelry is a small sculptural piece of wearable art.
