Sculpture

Brian Kluge

Brian Kluge's sculptural abstractions resemble both buoys and weights while also drawing upon the visual language of manmade tools/implements. Their surfaces are brightly colored, yet muted as though by some unseen weathering process. This combination of form and surface lends his objects an artifact-like quality and imbues the works with a sense of mystery.
