Chainmaille Jewelry

Debbie Olin

Chainmaille weaves move from traditional to inspired as one pushes each technique by varying link size, wire gauge and integrate glass or stone.

Studio Glimpse

Straight wire is coiled, saw cut with the flex shaft, and hardened in a rock tumbler in preparation for weaving. Twenty sizes in 3 different gauges are required to weave the vast variety of designs. Wire is either silver-filled, gold-filled or solid copper.
