Jenny Blasen Pottery

When creating my functional pottery I take inspiration from everyday objects. I craft each piece by hand using different textures and rich fluid colors to create elevated, useful pieces. My pots are thoughtfully considered for their intended uses--yarn bowls have flat, heavy bottoms so they won't tip over, soap dishes have raised areas to keep the soap dry.
